BROCHURE (CHAPTER 1- INTRODUCTION TO INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY)

This is my first assignment - brochure about chapter 1.
I would choose to make a brochure about the comparison between the mainframe and personal computers .
 Why I would choose this two categories? . This is because the mainframe is very big compared to the personal computers is a medium size of gadget that can fit on your desk or you also can put in on your lap.

There are also different categories of computers :
1. Supercomputers 
  • the fastest, most powerful, most expensive computer and used for very complex , sophisticated job such as nuclear research, 
  • it is full room of equipment
  • capable of processing trillions of program instructions per second 
  • speed in picoseconds-1,000 times as fastest microcomputers
  • store more than 20,000 times the data and information of an average desktop computer

  • special-purpose computer that functions ass a component in a larger product and perform various functions depending on the product 
  • small
  • slower than a mobile computer and devices 
  • limited or small storage media

3.   Computer-Mobile computers & devices

a) Mobile computer
  • a personal computer that can perform its input, processing, output and storage by itself that you can carry from place to place .
  • notebook computers, netbook, tablet PC's
b) Mobile device
  • computing device small enough to hold in your hand 
  • smartphones, E-book readers, Handheld computers
Mobile computer & devices
  • fits on the lap, palm, and pocket
  • may slower than a personal computer
  • small storage media
