how do you feel today? excited to learn the next chapter?
i will reveal to you guyssss
As today , i will tell to you guys about the network architecture .
Definition : the configuration of computers, devices and media on a network .
TYPES OF NETWORK ARCHITECTURE
PEER TO PEER NETWORK
- a simple
- inexpensive network
- connect < 10computer
- Has equal sharing of hardware, data or information with other computer on a network
- Ideal for small business and home users
ADVANTAGES
1. Easy to set up because it require a hub or switch to connect all the computers together
2. Does not need to have a server ,all the contents are shared by all the computers in the network.
3. One computer fails, does not disrupt other computers function in the network
DISAVANDTAGES
1. Security in this system not strong ,viruses, spywares can easily transmitted over this architecture
2. Slow down as the number of users increase by using > 10 computers
CLIENT SERVER NETWORK
- one or more computers act as a server, and the other computer on the network(clients) request services from the server.
SERVER : control access to the hardware, software and other resources on the network and provides centralized storage area from programs, data and information.
CLIENTS : other computers and mobile devices on the network that rely on the server for its resources.
ADVANTAGES
1. works with any size of networks and does not tend to slow down with heavy use
2. security advanced ; have passwords to own individual profiles so that nobody can access anything when they want
DISANVANTAGES
1. complex and costly set up , need to purchase the server, network operating system and requires an expert to maintain the network.
2. If the server goes down it effects all the computers in network.
