 REASSEMBLE AND DISASSEMBLE

This time, I will tell you guys about the system unit and the components inside it . By using my first experience of my practical that is assemble and disassemble system unit . This is a hands on task . I'm quite shaky when doing the task.......

but first i will tell what is a system unit ?

• the system unit or chassis is a case that contains and protects the motherboard, hard drive, memory and other electronic components.

THE MOTHERBOARD

• main circuit board of the computer that holds  many components of the system and provides connectors for other peripherals

Basic components of motherboard

processor slot : slot that hold a processor/central processing unit (CPU)and forms the electrical interface with the CPU

 



memory slot : slot that hold memory modules, Random Access Memory (RAM)

adapter card slot : Slot that hold adapter cards

after the practical session is over , each one of us have been given questions by our lecturer .
I've been asked about memory , so what is memory "Memory consists of electronic components that store instructions waiting to be executed by the processor,data needed by those instructions and the results of processing the data".
